New eQ site is on its way! The old eQ site is currently being overhauled to provide the spectacular display that you see here. We hope to have things up and running shortly but in the meen time feel free to join us in the forums to chat.
Left 4 Dead From Valve (the creators of Counter-Strike, Half-Life and more) comes Left 4 Dead, a new kind of action game for the PC and Xbox 360™ that features single player, co-op and multiplayer game modes.
CoD4 On November 10, 2009, acclaimed developer Infinity Ward will make its return with the release of Modern Warefare 2, the sequel to the game of the year winner Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

EQ was formed on CompuServe in 1996 by Deathace and some friends who played a pre-release version of Quake.
The copy used by eQ was the only available copy of Quake in the UK at the time and was provided directly by the
UK marketing arm of ID Software - GT Interactive.
Early 1998 saw Paul `Locki` Wedgewood take over as Clan Leader.
During 1998/1999, Clan EarthQuakers won a number of cups and leagues in Team Fortress, before moving over to
Quake 3 and Counter Strike in 2000.
Come late 2000 Counter Strike was dropped and EarthQuakers became a sole Quake 3 Fortress clan.
With many of eQ also working for the game designer Splash Damage, eQ changed games again and played W:ET
under the guidance of DoBBs.
We played in the ClanBase Enemy Territory ladder & BWQ3Proball Cup and eQ is proud of its contributions to the
online gaming community - still today, many members are columnists on various gaming sites.
These include four on Barrysworld, two on challenge uk/eu, one on QuakeNation, one on Planetarion and one on
B0rk.
Other members of eQ work for MOD teams (such as Q3F - www.q3f.com and WT - www.wolftactics.com) or help
out as IRCOPS on networks such as Quakenet and Planetarion.
Now, 12 years after its founding by Deathace, Earthquakers is one of the largest and oldest gaming clans in Europe.
Currently captained by Salteh and Tsujigiri, both long term members, eQ has a large squad
playing Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and Call of Duty 4.

ET:QW

Squad Leader: eQ Fayetal

As a clan eQ enjoys Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, a team based FPS game released by London games firm Splash Damage. ET:QW follows a basic fortress format but is carefully balanced so that each member of a team, and each class has an integral and important part to play in completing map objectives.

Considered by most gamers to be a hardcore team based fps, ET:QW is a fast paced game that employs deployable weaponry and useable vehicles by a number of classes, as well as a set series of linear objectives in order to win or loose a game.

The game has a remote ranking system tied to individual user accounts whereby players can keep track of their progress, and clans can check players game records.

We are currently accepting friendly match challenges for any time, although we prefer weekend games.

CoD 4

Squad Leader: eQ GU4RDI4N

Several members of eQ have started playing CoD 4, so we have launched support for them through our community The Group Thing.

CoD 4 is a fps game supporting different game types including Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch (War), Sabotage, Search & Destroy and Domination. The game includes the facility to unlock different weapons and game perks as a player earns experience, thus allowing the player to customise his in game character.

Gameplay varies wildly depending upon the server and players, however playing with clan players, especially those who have learned the importance of playing as a team through ET:QW is a great experience and often very amusing.

CoD 4 incorporates a ranking system which is located upon the local machine, which unfortunately means that if you don’t back up your game data then you loose your ranks if you need to reinstall the game.

We are not yet accepting clan challenges in CoD 4.

Left 4 Dead

Squad Leader: eQ Tsujigiri

One of the most exciting games to appear in 2008, Left4Dead places a group of survivors against a horde of infected zombies. We can be found playing for fun onThe Group Thing Left 4 Dead servers and are currently considering fun matches as Survivors Vs. Infected.

Most games are played in an organised fashion, with partners arranged beforehand as we normally play on Advanced for fun and Expert to game seriously.
Feel free to contact us if you want to join us for a game!
